You ever had an unrest in your spirit because of a passion the Lord placed in your heart and you don’t know where to go with it? It’s such a reckless force stirring inside of you that you pray for peace because at times it can be unbearable! You also pray for opportunities because your passion brings glory to God and in turn brings you joy. But the wait is the hard part. Waiting on the Lord is always difficult for me. You want to serve, you say, “Here I am...send me.” but the wait makes you question if it’s something you want more than the Lord wants for you.
That’s where I’m at...waiting, praying, searching. I wonder if there’s more, I want more! But I wait...I wait on the Lord.
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. (Lamentations 3:25 ESV)
He is so good and faithful and every day I wake up with an unrest, but with every morning also comes a new dose of peace. I have come to find peace in knowing he is growing me and using this time of wait to mold and shape me. Music is my outlet. It’s my way to put my inside on the outside. I came across a song I haven’t heard in a while and the words cut directly to my heart and spoke what I couldn’t…
