A WILD Celebration '2012'

New Year's Eve we decided to head to Cincinnati to the zoo and see the festival of lights and celebrate with the animals who are just as wild as we are! It was packed, but so much fun.
Onah's 'terrified' face :)
Marie loving being pushed around in the stroller.
Carousel rides!
The gang (it was a chore trying to get them all to look at the same time, let alone smile!)
Me and my handsome boy! He still lets me hug him in public!
Pretty blue eyes!
The polar bear was the only animal out that we saw walking about and Izzy loved 'roaring' at him. This is her 'roaring' :)
Hallelujah they had a cheetah! His obsession!
"Look out for that cheetah!"
Onah not sure if he should enjoy this ride or not.
Marie chose the zebra...closest you'll get her to riding a horse :)
They enjoyed the ride, but the bad news is they let off the fire works while we were on the carousel so we missed the celebration!...We tried to smooth it over with Colten by telling him it was a fake, 'ball drop' cause it was only 9 pm. We could make it home before midnight before the real ball dropped.
(one problem...traffic)
So when midnight struck, we were in Lexington on Man'O War 5 minutes from home and we celebrated in the car...
Party in the front!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Slumber party in the back...ZZZZZZZZZZ
Excited to see what the new year brings! Many more sweet memories to come!

Christmas Morning

This is one of the moments I dreamed of for the last 2 years! Being together on Christmas morning as a family and celebrating this holiday together. You could not find a happier momma on the planet on Dec. 25th! We caught just a few photos for reminders but really weren't too concerned with cameras, but more loving taking it all in and enjoying the moments together.
First we surprised all the kids by converting the garage into a playroom. We needed a space for them to be loud and goofy, and store alot of there toys! So we threw down some carpet, organized, cleaned, and safetyfied everything. They were so surprised, they had no idea! Santa just happened to leave their presents from him in their new playroom!
Santa brought the 3 little ones a trampoline, Izzy a tent, and Colten got a Leap Pad Explorer.
Onah showing off some of his presents on Christmas morning.
Izzy got her very own baby. Even better, she can clean it in the bathtub! She did not want anyone touching it.
Colten got sparring gear for Karate. He was ready to rumble with Matt!
I learned quickly that Marie loved to brush hair so she got a doll that has hair to fix :)
"Hortie" (horsie)!!! The perfect gift, a horse and bouncing!
Apparently Christmas morning wore her out! She fell asleep during breakfast. Too adorable!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve finally arrived and the kids opened their Christmas pjs, we read the Christmas Story and The Night Before Christmas, laid out Santa's cookies and milk, and threw out reindeer dust before getting the kids all nestled in bed. I love this holiday!
Daddy and his boys in their Christmas pajamas.
My girls in their pajamas. We found some pajamas that had matching pjs for their babies. They were so surprised to see their babies matching them! Love it!
